I have examined the accompanying Ordinance intituled
an Ordinance to amend further the War Loan Ordinance, 1916,
and I am of opinion that the Ordinance is one which is not contrary to the
Governor's Instructions.
This Ordinance was introduced in order to meet the points raised in the Crown Agent's letter of the 8th March, 1917, was addressed to the Colonial Secretary,

The War Loan Ordinance, 1916, Ordinance No. 12 of 1916, provided that all bonds, not previously redeemed should be redeemable on the 1st December, 1928.
The prospectus, however, which was
issued subsequently, made the date of final redemption the 1st
November, 1928,
